Evaporators for stickwater are very important, because they recover dry matter that will increase the yield of meal by 20% or more, depending upon the freshness and nature of the raw material. To high fat fish, the superiority of evaporator is obvious. Furthermore, they eliminate a serious pollution problem that today appears unacceptable, particularly in the vicinity of densely populated areas.

NJ evaporator consists of stageⅠand stageⅡevaporators, stageⅠand stageⅡvapor liquor separator steam separator, vacuum condenser and five pumps. It deals with the stickwater by vacuum concentration to produce the concentrated solution.
